Broadband billing • New Zealand • Fictional, offline demonstration

Did your broadband switch finish properly?

Check your old provider's closure, your new deal, and the first and final bills—in plain English. No spreadsheets. No assumptions that a normal billing overlap is a mistake.

Demo only: All examples are invented. Use fictional or fully redacted information; no customer documents, provider connections or uploads are supported.
Step 1 of 5

Start with a sample switch

Select a fictional case to see how SwitchProof handles different situations. You can change any of the details afterwards.

How this worksWe never assume that an overlapping invoice is a billing error. The app flags inconsistencies and evidence gaps, without certifying any real bill or contract.
No sign-in, bank access or real bills needed.
Step 2 of 5

When did you switch?

These dates help determine whether charges might relate to a valid notice period. Only enter an end date if it was confirmed.

Why closure mattersA cancellation request is not the same as proof the old account was closed. If closure is unconfirmed, we'll flag missing evidence instead of accusing the provider of an error.
Step 3 of 5

What did the old provider charge?

Use the service period and recurring amount from the final bill—not the payment date or total invoice if it includes other items.

ImportantA bill covering dates after closure might be followed by a credit or refund. That requires checking; it is not automatically an overcharge.
Step 4 of 5

Does the new bill match your deal?

Enter the recurring service charge separately from one-off fees. Tell us whether the bill covers exactly one monthly cycle.

First bill warningBroadband bills often contain partial months or charges in advance. We won't compare a multi-period total with a one-month advertised price.
Step 5 of 5

Your SwitchProof report

We compare your entries with transparent checks and identify evidence gaps. This is a demo, not a verification of real provider records.

Ready-to-use follow-up message

This is a draft enquiry—not a claim that a provider made a mistake. Check all details before sending.

Not professional, billing or legal advice. We cannot independently confirm provider records, contract terms, tax treatment, service activation, refunds, fees or entitlement to reimbursement.
